Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

Our room was lovely and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was as expected food wise. There were lots of lounging areas, all very comfortable with pleasant surroundings and beautiful views. The evening bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Room service good. Loved the swimming pool etc. Plenty of parking.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was lovely. The swimming pool was perfect. Loads of seating areas near the bar. We were family of six and most evenings we all relaxed together on sofas in one of the many lounge areas. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

A delightful setting. Plenty of car parking spaces. A comfortable twin bedded room over looking the entrance to the hotel. A fast and efficient service at breakfast, with a good choice of hot and cold foods and beverages.

The breakfast was excellent, lot of choice. Items from the kitchen were served quickly and very hot. The evening dinner menu was good, plenty of choice. All food was served quickly and was hot. All the staff were very pleasant, it was clear that a number of staff were new recruits, with a little more training they will all be excellent. The spa area was lovely, a little limited seating at busy times.

We were very impressed right from the very start of our visit. The check-in process with Mr Swift (I have unfortunately forgotten his first name), was exceptional. He was friendly, a great conversationalist and made it perfectly clear what facilities were available and where they were located. He certainly set a really positive tone for what was to follow. The room was superb, exceptionally clean and comfortable, the spa was just perfect, as was the bar area and breakfast. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was our first stay at Slaley Hall - it will certainly not be our last. A big well done to all staff!
